SA's first trial for 2007 broke the drought both trailing & lack of rain. Lots of glorious rain from Thursday to Sunday, which made conditions very trying but nobody was complaining. Not much anyway.

Congratulations to everyone doing well in retrieving this year.

Jadine will probably kill me for this. But we thought the people in her favoured discipline might like to know that last weekend in Albury a GSP bred by Jadine brought up his Obedience Championship making him a Dual Champion and the THIRD DUAL CHAMPION bred by Jadine.

He is Ch Oakridge Flaming Swords UD, owned and trialled by Kerry Winters. And he is a litter brother of Jadine's Magnum who placed 4th in All Age at the SA Lab Club trial on Sunday.

Both dogs are sired by Jadine's wonderful Jason, Dual Ch (R) Oakridge Argonaut CDX. And Jason had a litter sister who was Dual Ch (F) Oakridge Alessandra NRD.

We suspect that there are only a hand full of people in Australia who can boast breeding a Dual Champion in each of the Field, Retrieving and Obedience disciplines.

Jadine is a good friend and we congratulate her on her success. She has always stuck to her dual purpose philosophy when breeding her GSPs and it has paid off.
