Retrieving Dog of the year (to the end of Feb)

Postby Laraine Frawley » Fri 04 Mar 2005 11:55 am

Here are the results from the two Victorian trials held so far this year.

Sharing 16 points are RT Ch Winterset Moon Shadow and Kadnook Tanks Aheap.
On 12 points is Ch Topnotch Exalt
On 10 points is Kadnook Turn the Page
On 9 points is Nat RT Ch Addershot Crackers Triga.

A total of 21 dogs have 1 point or more and our top dogs include a Golden Retriever and GSP as well as those pesky Labs.

Results should start becoming interesting in the next month with NSW triallling season starting and the big Easter trials at Benalla. Remember I can't add the results until they are put on this web site.

I will try (within work constraints) to give an update at the end of each month of the top dogs.

Laraine,

Well done on our first up date. Its great to already see not only some of the "minor" breeds having an impact but also novice and restricted dogs in the mix.

Thanks for the first installment Laraine.

For those new to the site, the background and scoring system for the Australian Working Retriever Central Retrieving Dog of the Year is in a thread on the general page. Click here to see to it.

Cheers, Jason.
