VALE JEFF GRIFFITHS

Dear friends, with great sadness I report that Jeff Griffiths has unexpectedly passed away in hospital on Sunday 19/7/20 as a result of a brief aggressive pancreatic cancer condition.

Jeff aged 62, together with his wife Carol, was a successful breeder of ‘PANGRYFF’ Labrador Retrievers and a prominent figure within the Retrieving and Obedience communities. Among his many and varied roles outside of his professional occupations he was Chairman of the Dogs NSW RAFT Committee, Secretary and Trials Manager of the Labrador Retriever Club of NSW and Treasurer of The Gundog Society (NSW). On weekends he was an active Retrieving Trials and RATG judge and had also been a long standing instructor / committee member for the Springwood and Blue Mountains Dog Training Clubs. His absence will definitely be felt and he will be sadly missed in our corner of the canine world. Rest in peace Jeff.

Funeral arrangements for Jeff Griffiths.
Carol has asked me to pass on the details of Jeffs funeral for those who wish to attend.
It will be on Wednesday, 29th July, Pine Grove Cemetery. Minchinbury, Nth Chapel at 11am. Due to Covid restrictions there is a limit of 100 people, 24 in the Chapel, which will be reserved for family and a couple of close friends and 76 are allowed outside as long as social distancing is followed. There will be a screen outside and we are organising for it to be live streamed.
Due to this restriction there is no way there can be a wake at this time. For those that wish to pay their respects to Jeff it is hopeful to have a memorial at a later date & when it is possible. We will give details when things settle down a bit.
We give our heart felt condolences to Carol & family at this time.
