It is with the deepest sadness that I wish to advise the Retrieving Community of the passing of MR JAKE CHRISTENSEN.

Jake has been an extremely memorable member of this community for over 40 years. A successful competitor, esteemed Judge and instinctual trainer of Retrievers. Jake was always willing to pass on his knowledge and lend a helping hand to anyone in need.
Jake has battled with health issues for a short time now and succumbed to those issues on Friday 25th September.
Jake epitomised the "Lovable Aussie Larrikin" and will be sorely missed in the Queensland Retrieving World, his recently adopted homeland, as well as NSW where he and Carol spent most of their life together, and no doubt, across Australia. See ya mate.

Our very deepest sympathies go out to his wife Carol and daughter Rennae, son-in-law Liam and Granddaughter Lilith.

We know the Retrieving community across Australia will be sending his family their best wishes. Anyone wishing further details of services etc is welcome to PM myself as I am happy to distribute details, as per Carol's instructions, as they come to hand.
