Accommodation, (if you do not have a self sufficient caravan) does seem scarce but suggestions are:

I can only suggest looking on Airbnb or Stayz as both had some options, mostly a bit further away near Bendigo, which is about 30 minutes. Perhaps you can also look at getting together with a few people and getting a bigger place.
