CHWGC - Traralgon Trial

Well I can report that the gumboot warning was necessary. It was certainly rather wet underfoot and the judges were ecstatic at the amount of water they had available to set their runs over for the weekend. The weather was glorious, sun all day and very little wind.

Only one vehicle got bogged over the entire weekend – unfortunately mine but girl power prevailed and we (Helen Pownall, Rocky Furnell and I) got the vehicle out without any assistance from the gallery (of men) who were unable to work out whether or not we were bogged and whether or not they should help!

We had a couple of new trialers out on the weekend which was pleasing to see. A huge thanks to all of the Gippslanders for their help in running the trial.

Good to see you had such a successful weekend in more ways than one.
Lots of Water - We could only dream of that here in SA
You got yourself unbogged WITHOUT the assistance of the Men in the gallery. And placings in every Run.

Well Done those who placed and congratulations to those gaining titles at this Trial.

Many thanks for the comment, Kate. Very much appreciated as are the phone calls etc that I get from interstate. Chris rang me and I was so thrilled for him and it really gives me a boost, as does the performance of Jack and Fern.

I have one more trial up here and then I aim to get to the Vic. State and National. I really hope to see you all again.
