After weather which looked wet and miserable on Friday, Saturday was windy, overcast, cold but fine and Sunday was warm and sunny.

May I congratulate the small working party for these championships in both the conduct of the trial, and the friendship shown to all trialers. What weird weather with freezing cold on Saturday and very warm on Sunday, but at least it didn't rain !
I would also like to congratulate Ron Jackson on his trial; testing, but achievable runs, with the possibility for things to go wrong. It was refreshing to see runs without tricks. Well done all, and congratulations to the placegetters and all the handlers/dogs who finished.
