Flatcoated Retriever Association of Victoria Inc

Mt Emu Settlement Road, PITTONG

Unlike the day before the weather wasn’t quite so kind to us on Sunday. Although the sun shone early on it clouded over and the wind blew, and a cold wind at that. It is pleasing to see the entries in Novice increasing and was great to see a couple of new handlers. There was an interesting mix of dogs being run over the weekend Brittany’s, Weimeraners, Long Haired Weimeraners, GSP’s, Goldens and of course Labradors.

Thanks to everyone who helped on the day, CHWGC for the use of their equipement, Mark Davis for procuring the property and Leanne Tormey, caterer extraordinaire who kept us all fed and watered over the weekend.

Great to hear about Ty winning this trial Richard. Must have been that little talk we had :-)

Having just arrived home from our trek across the country, I wish to say thank you to all the Victorian people for your hospitality and friendship whilst Ian and I were there. Can't say a lot about the weather though !! Great to catch up with you all, even if the dogs were a bit naughty. Maybe we'll see you next year.
