W A State Championship Retrieving Trial 2019 was held on a new site in Morangup which, although relatively small, offered some different terrain and our judge used it to full advantage to set an interesting course of 6 runs over the two days. The weather was great for the duration of the runs, but unfortunately the rain came down at presentation time only gave a limited opportunity for photographs.

The State Championship Working Party would like to thank Mark Davis and Wendy Davis for making the trip over to WA and all your hard work this week setting and judging the runs, we wish you a safe journey home. To all those involved in making this trial happen both over the weekend itself and throughout the year, thank you all for your support. Thanks also to the property owner and Ray Johnson for liaising with the property owner to secure permission to hold the trial and to Dave Thomas (Rustic Metal Works) for making a number of our trophies and allowing us to camp. To all those who made donations both to the trophy table and in fundraising your contributions are greatly appreciated.
A very special thanks to our caterers and fund raisers extraordinaire, Sandra, Kelly and Bryan.
We hope to see you all and perhaps some new faces and new dogs next year.
