A handy check list for people heading off to their first Retrieving or Field Trial in remote locations has just been added to the Inside Retrieving Page.

Hi Pete,

This is great. I went without my toiletry bag once. Very embarrassing scrounging for soap, deodorant etc. Lucky for me, my fellow trialers were very generous. Another time, I forgot the dog food. Lists to tick off are essential I have discovered.

Regards Kerrie.

I remember being at a trial in SA last year - or the year before maybe. A well known trialler (and judge) arrived without his beanie on a bitterly cold day. He was scrounging around to borrow one. One seasoned trialler with a dry wit remarked "Mate - I hope you have remembered your jocks".
