Prey drive focus & control for Retrievers!

November 19th & 20th 2005.

Cost $190 for both days.

A two day event by Steve Courtney of K9 Force Professional Dog Training & Behaviour Consultancy will be covering in depth & advanced training in drive procedures & methods.

Steve has been training using prey drive for many years & can demonstrate & explain some of the benefits of training this way, also he can troubleshoot our dogs & help provide a solution to any problems you may have.

The greatest benefit should come from attendees gaining the knowledge required to diagnose problems in their own training & work through them, fast!

In the two day we expect to cover:

Day 1.
· Drive theory & explanation of Steve’s own drive model.
· Understanding the impact of nerves on a working dog.
· Creating, maintaining & using the bond to build a better working dog.
· Prey drive training schedule.
· On field demonstration of drive.
· Drive development exercises.
· Drive Control Exercises.
· Drive satisfaction control.

Day 2.
· Question time on the information presented in day 1.
· Tools that can help give control.
· Problem solving
· Field exercises
· Individual time to work with single attendee at a time whilst others watch.
· Question & answer time.

Workshop sizes are kept small, this gives Steve the time to hopefully address all of the issues that arise & spend some time fully explaining the necessary steps to success.

Please register your interest as soon as possible to avoid disappointment.

The theory section of the seminar will be held on the Cramond property (Beaconsfield Victoria) and practical section on properties nearby. Camping on our property is available or else bring a sleeping bag (we have a large 3 bay enclosed garage). Plenty of pens/runs spare also.

Dinner will be a bar-b-que or else at the local pub (a 3 minute walk).

Please telephone me on 03 9707 2705 or Email juliecramond@internode.on.net

Thanks,
